* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Franklin and
Madison.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 137 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2.5
and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Columbus, Dublin, Westerville, Reynoldsburg, Grove City,
Upper Arlington, Gahanna, Hilliard, Pickerington,
Worthington, Bexley, London, Jefferson, Canal Winchester,
Groveport, West Jefferson, Minerva Park, Lake Darby, Ohio
State University and Easton.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
