Tropical Storm Moke, currently located about 360 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii, has weakened with sustained winds of 45 mph and is moving west at 14 mph.
The storm is expected to pass south of the Big Island on Sunday and continue moving south of the rest of Hawaii by Monday.

Impact & Risks

The Big Island faces the highest risk, with heavy rainfall potentially causing dangerous flooding and mudslides, particularly in windward and southeast areas and regions recently affected by Lala. Maui County could also see significant rainfall, especially in eastern and upcountry areas. Gusty winds may pose hazards in higher elevations, and increased swells could create dangerous conditions along exposed shorelines. Residents and visitors should remain vigilant as conditions may rapidly deteriorate.
