The heavy rainfall has caused significant disruptions, including waterlogging in low-lying areas and major roads, creating flood-like conditions. Authorities have deployed 38 teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) to assist in vulnerable districts. Additionally, 35 reservoirs are on high alert, with warnings issued for 13 others. South Gujarat has also been heavily impacted, with Kaprada in Valsad district recording 113 mm of rainfall in 24 hours. The state has received 80.23% of its seasonal average rainfall, while South Gujarat has exceeded 110% of its seasonal quota.
