The 13th annual Mile of Music festival is underway in Appleton, Wisconsin, just days after severe storms and a tornado impacted the Fox Valley area.
The festival, which runs from Thursday through Sunday, features over 200 artists performing 551 live sets across downtown Appleton.

Impact & Risks

The recent tornado, upgraded to an EF3 by the National Weather Service, caused significant damage in the Fox Valley area, injuring over 60 people. While the festival venues are operational, attendees are advised to avoid hard-hit neighborhoods unless they are registered disaster volunteers. Blocked-off areas near venues may also pose minor inconveniences for festivalgoers. The community is still recovering from the storm, and the festival aims to provide a sense of normalcy and support through its storm relief contributions.
