The state government has deployed 1,499 boats and motorboats for rescue operations and mobilised 1,067 medical teams to assist those impacted.

The floods have caused significant disruption across 23 districts in Uttar Pradesh, including Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. Over 16,000 people have been displaced, and three lives have been lost. Livestock has also been severely impacted, with 36,287 animals affected and 16,629 vaccinated. Rising river levels, particularly in Ballia, pose ongoing risks to residents. Damaged homes and infrastructure have further complicated relief efforts, with 442 cases of property damage reported. The situation remains critical, especially in low-lying areas near rivers.
