A flood alert has been issued in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, after 7.4 lakh cusecs of water were released within 48 hours, raising concerns of rising water levels in nearby rivers.
Villages along the rivers, including Pulloo Patal, Rudal, Chandrika, Harilal, and others, are at risk of flooding.
