Impact & Risks

Cyclone Arnab has caused significant disruption in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, with uprooted trees, power outages, and a storm surge of 1.5 to 2.5 metres inundating low-lying areas. Coastal districts in Odisha, including Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, and Puri, experienced heavy rain and strong winds. Inland flooding remains a risk as the storm moves further into Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh.
