The cyclone is expected to bring widespread heavy rainfall, with isolated extremely heavy rainfall forecast for coastal Andhra Pradesh on October 27 and 28, and for Odisha and Telangana on October 28. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also likely over Odisha on October 27 and 29. Wind speeds are predicted to reach 70-80 kmph, gusting to 90 kmph, from October 26 onwards. Coastal areas, particularly between Visakhapatnam and the Krishna-Godavari region, are under scrutiny for potential landfall impacts. Southern Odisha may also experience significant effects, including gusty winds and heavy rain. Rough sea conditions and storm surges pose additional risks to coastal communities.
