Peeko, a Bengaluru-based babycare-focused quick commerce startup, has raised $7 million (₹67.4 crore) in its Series A funding round led by Chiratae Ventures, with participation from Stellaris Venture Partners and other angel investors.
The funds will be used to expand its operations in Bengaluru, enhance its product assortment, and improve its technology infrastructure.

Impact & Risks

The funding will enable Peeko to scale its operations and potentially capture a larger share of India's growing babycare market, which is projected to reach $9.72 billion by 2031. However, the company faces competition from platforms like Ozi, which operates in the Delhi NCR region. Additionally, the rapid expansion of the quick commerce market, expected to grow to $68 billion in GMV by 2031, presents both opportunities and challenges for Peeko as it seeks to establish itself as a leader in this space.
