• Temperatures are expected to exceed 90°F (32°C) for three consecutive days, meeting the criteria for a heat wave. The heat index will reach the upper 90s on Tuesday, with Wednesday being the hottest day, featuring highs near 100°F (37.8°C) and feels-like temperatures exceeding 100°F. An Extreme Heat Watch has been issued for Central and South Jersey, where the heat index could climb to between 105°F and 110°F (40.5°C to 43.3°C). Thursday will remain hot, with temperatures in the low to mid-90s, before cooling slightly into the weekend.
