However, the region experienced minimal rainfall during the day, with no measurable precipitation recorded between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm. Temperatures in the region remained in the mid-30s, with Chandigarh recording a maximum of 34.7°C and a minimum of 25.9°C. Humidity levels were high, with a maximum relative humidity of 93%. Seasonal rainfall in Chandigarh remains 15.3% below normal, with a total of 609.7 mm recorded since June 1.

The rain warning is expected to bring relief from the ongoing dry spell in the Tricity region but may also lead to localised disruptions.
