The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated locations in Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand for tomorrow.
Additionally, heavy rainfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi.

Impact & Risks

The forecasted heavy rainfall could lead to localised flooding, waterlogging, and disruptions in daily life across the affected states. Low-lying areas and regions with poor drainage systems are particularly vulnerable. Transportation and outdoor activities may be impacted, and there is a risk of landslides in hilly areas such as Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Residents in these regions should remain vigilant and prepare for potential disruptions.
