Chicago is bracing for a significant heat wave starting Monday, June 29, 2026, as a high-pressure system moves in from the Southeast, bringing scorching temperatures and high humidity.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an extreme heat warning from noon Monday through 10 p.m.
