Delhi to Remain Dry as Monsoon Withdraws Further
• The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dry weather for Delhi as the southwest monsoon continues its withdrawal from parts of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab as of 21 September
• Clear skies are expected over Delhi on 22 September, with temperatures ranging from 23–25°C (minimum) to 34–36°C (maximum). Similar conditions are forecast for the next few days, with partly cloudy skies likely from 25 September onwards. Heavy rainfall is expected in other parts of India, including coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.

Delhi residents can expect dry weather, reducing the risk of flooding or waterlogging. However, heavy rainfall in other states, such as Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh, may lead to localised flooding, disruptions to daily life, and potential damage to infrastructure. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are also forecast in several regions, posing risks to outdoor activities and travel.
