• The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Red Flag Warning for parts of Wyoming, effective from noon to 6 PM MDT on Monday. This warning replaces the previously issued Fire Weather Watch. The affected areas include Central Wyoming fire zones 280, 289, and 300, as well as Southwest Wyoming fire zone
• The warning highlights the combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures, which could lead to erratic fire behaviour. Winds are expected to range from 10 to 15 mph, with gusts reaching 30 to 35 mph. Humidity levels may drop as low as 10 percent, and temperatures are forecasted to reach highs in the low to mid-80s °F.
