Impact & Risks

The Aspen Acres Fire is threatening communities in Fremont County, where mandatory evacuations are in place. The fire's rapid growth and low containment level (15%) present significant risks to residents, wildlife, and infrastructure. With a burn area nearing the size of Denver, the fire could lead to further evacuations and property damage if not contained. Smoke and air quality issues may also affect surrounding areas.
