The heavy rainfall has led to risks of flooding and landslides in low-lying areas. Schools and Anganwadi centres in 10 districts of Odisha were closed, and government personnel were instructed to remain on standby. Pregnant women in vulnerable areas were relocated to health centres. The Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) has been mobilised to handle emergencies.
