The heavy rainfall has necessitated large-scale evacuations and rescue operations. Since June 1, authorities have evacuated 85,456 people and rescued 9,822 individuals. Navsari, Valsad, and Surat have seen the highest number of evacuations. Additionally, 45 dams are on High Alert, 13 on Alert, and 10 on Warning due to rising water levels. The deployment of 10 NDRF teams and 28 SDRF platoons highlights the seriousness of the situation.
