Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has invited companies to establish operations in India's first Telecom Manufacturing Zone (TMZ) in Gwalior.
The initiative has already attracted investment commitments worth Rs 5,500 crore and is expected to create over 18,000 jobs.

Impact & Risks

The TMZ is expected to boost India's telecom manufacturing capabilities, reduce import dependence, and create significant employment opportunities. However, the success of the zone depends on sustained investments and the ability to attract global players.
