Tropical Storm Watch Expected for Hawaiian Islands Amid Developing Cyclone
• A developing storm system located approximately 895 miles from Hilo and 1,100 miles east-southeast of Honolulu is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm within the next 24 hours.
• According to the National Hurricane Center and Central Pacific Hurricane Center, there is a 90% chance the system will develop into a tropical cyclone within 48 hours.
