Impact & Risks

The earthquakes caused structural damage to a school building in Sindgi village, raising concerns about the safety of public infrastructure in the region. Hingoli has experienced 16 earthquakes in less than a year, making it one of the most seismically active areas in Marathwada. The recurring tremors pose risks to buildings and residents, particularly in areas with older or poorly constructed structures.
