The easing of peak power demand has temporarily reduced strain on the energy grid, but the coal shortage remains a significant concern. Around 80 out of 190 coal-based power plants are operating with critically low fuel levels, which could lead to disruptions in electricity generation if the situation persists. The shortage is attributed to rain-related transportation issues in coal-producing areas.
