The adoption of small AI tools could significantly benefit India's smallholder farmers by bridging information gaps and enhancing access to agricultural services. However, challenges such as digital exclusion, data governance, and the risk of incorrect advice remain. Marginalized groups, including women farmers and tenant cultivators, may face barriers to accessing these technologies, necessitating inclusive design and support systems.
