• On a 25.5°C (78°F) day, the temperature inside a car can soar to 48.8°C (120°F) within minutes, and on a 32.2°C (90°F) day, it can reach 71.1°C (160°F) in under 10 minutes.

Impact & Risks

Animals and children left in hot cars face life-threatening conditions within minutes. Heatstroke can cause brain damage or death in as little as 15 minutes. Outdoor animals, especially those without proper shelter, are also at risk during extreme weather conditions. These risks are particularly relevant during India's summer months, where temperatures often exceed 40°C, making vehicles and outdoor environments hazardous.
