Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions in India reached a record high of ₹29.9 lakh crore in July 2026, according to data from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). This marks a 19% year-on-year growth in transaction value compared to ₹25.08 lakh crore in July
In terms of volume, UPI processed 23.66 billion transactions in July, surpassing the 22.72 billion transactions recorded in June
