Geospatial technology company MapmyIndia has reported a 6.3% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY27, reaching ₹50.4 crore compared to ₹47.4 crore in the same period last year.
Operating revenue rose by 14.9% to ₹139.7 crore, driven by a 29% growth in automotive revenue and a 75% surge in IoT-led business revenue.

Impact & Risks

The financial results highlight MapmyIndia's growing influence in the automotive and IoT sectors, particularly in connected mobility and logistics solutions. However, the narrowing EBITDA margin and increased expenses could pose challenges to profitability if not managed effectively. The company's reliance on government contracts, which accounted for 12% of its revenue, also introduces risks tied to public sector spending and project delays. Investors may need to monitor these factors closely as they could impact future earnings.
