The integration of satellite technologies is significantly reducing the risks posed by climate change to Indian agriculture. By providing real-time data on floods, droughts, and crop stress, these systems enable targeted interventions, minimising crop losses and ensuring food security. Vulnerable regions, particularly those dependent on rainfed agriculture, stand to benefit the most. However, the success of these technologies depends on their accessibility to smallholder farmers and the effective implementation of related policies.
