The study warns of increased risks of disasters like the recent Nepal floods, which resulted in over 1,380 deaths and 5,500 missing. High night-time temperatures, which prevent cooling, further exacerbate the melting of snow and glaciers, amplifying the risk of catastrophic events in the region.
