The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Kachchh, Gujarat, on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, as heavy rainfall exceeding 15 mm per hour, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds up to 60 kmph are expected.
Additionally, an orange alert has been issued for Dwarka, Diu, Gir Somnath, Jamnagar, and Morbi, where moderate to intense rainfall (5-15 mm per hour), thunderstorms, and gusty winds of 40-60 kmph are likely.
