Winds could reach sustained speeds of 39 mph or higher, with gusts exceeding 60 mph in terrain-accelerated areas. Over a foot of rain is possible in interior mountain regions, increasing the risk of mudslides and flash flooding. Coastal areas may experience damaging surf and localized storm surge. Tornadoes and waterspouts could cause scattered damage, including power outages and structural impacts. Other Hawaiian islands may see limited effects from rainfall and wind.
