• Unusually high tides are expected to impact the region from Sunday morning through Thursday afternoon, with a peak on Tuesday morning.

Impact & Risks

The unusually high tides pose risks to roads, homes, businesses, and critical infrastructure along the Southern California coast. Vulnerable areas, including the Balboa Peninsula and Newport Beach, may experience significant flooding and erosion.
