Lucknow Airport Expands Winter Schedule, Prepares for Fog Disruptions
IN · Published Oct 20, 2026
• The Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow is set to increase its daily flight movements from 108 to 134 under its winter schedule, which begins on 25 October 2026 and will be fully implemented by 1 November
• The schedule includes connectivity to 20 domestic and 10 international destinations, with the resumption of direct flights to Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport starting 17 November

Impact & Risks

The expanded winter schedule will enhance connectivity for passengers travelling to and from Lucknow, including international destinations like Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Bangkok. However, dense fog and low visibility during the winter months could disrupt flight operations, leading to delays or cancellations. The airport has already handled 149 diverted flights this year due to operational disruptions, showcasing its capability to manage such challenges. Passengers should remain prepared for potential delays, especially during peak fog conditions.
