Winds along the coast are expected to reach sustained speeds of 15 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph, and even 60 mph in Cape Cod and the Islands. Inland areas will face gusts of 30 to 40 mph, with isolated tree damage and scattered power outages possible. While flash flooding is not anticipated, localized road ponding and poor-drainage flooding may occur during heavier rain bands.
