70 roads blocked in Himachal Pradesh; rainfall expected to intensify from August 31
• Himachal Pradesh continues to face disruptions due to heavy monsoon rains, with 70 roads remaining blocked across the state. Additionally, 60 transformers and one drinking water supply scheme have been damaged, affecting essential services. The State Emergency Operation Centre reported that Mandi district has the highest number of blocked roads (29), followed by Kullu (16), Kangra (7), Chamba and Sirmaur (5 each), Una (4), Shimla (3), and Lahaul and Spiti (1).
