The cyclone has caused significant rainfall in Andhra Pradesh, with Naguluppalapadu in Prakasam district recording 198 mm of rain. A storm surge of 1-1.5 metres above the astronomical tide is expected to inundate low-lying areas in Bapatla, Krishna, and Prakasam districts.
