The flash floods and landslides have severely impacted transportation and communication in Nepal, leaving many Indian tourists and residents stranded. In Tamil Nadu, 219 out of 319 residents have been rescued, while efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining 100. In Assam, 12 individuals remain untraced, and in Maharashtra, 404 citizens have been confirmed safe, with 338 contacted. The floods have also caused significant damage to roads and infrastructure, posing risks to rescue operations and further travel disruptions.
