India is set to host the fifth edition of SEMICON India 2026 from 17 to 19 September at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.
The event will bring together over 500 exhibitors and 150 global speakers, including government officials, industry leaders, and academics.

Impact & Risks

The event underscores India's growing role in the global semiconductor industry, with the government actively promoting policies to attract investments. The approval of 12 projects under Semicon 1.0 and the launch of Semicon 2.0 aim to build a robust semiconductor ecosystem. However, challenges such as global competition and the need for skilled labor could impact the success of these initiatives. The conference provides a platform to address these challenges and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
