The IMD has issued a low to moderate flash flood risk for watersheds in east Madhya Pradesh, including Jabalpur, Rewa, and Mandla, as well as east Uttar Pradesh, including Prayagraj and Mirzapur. Saturated soils and low-lying areas may experience surface runoff and inundation. Widespread rainfall is expected to impact daily life in regions such as Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The heavy rainfall could disrupt transportation, agriculture, and infrastructure in affected areas, particularly in regions already experiencing waterlogging.
