Fishermen have been advised to avoid venturing into the northwest Bay of Bengal due to rough sea conditions and strong winds. The IMD has also warned of potential flash floods in low-lying areas. In the Northeast, prolonged rainfall may increase the risk of landslides in hilly regions.
