Continuous rain blocks Kedarnath Dham route; Rudraprayag launches pothole-free road campaign
• The Rudraprayag district administration in Uttarakhand has launched a campaign to make all roads pothole-free by 15 October

Meanwhile, continuous rainfall has caused debris and stones to fall near the Chirbasa Helipad, blocking the Kedarnath Dham route. Authorities have halted pilgrim movement along the route as a safety measure. Pilgrims heading to Kedarnath have been stopped at Sonprayag and Gaurikund, while those returning are being held at Jungle Chatti.
