Flooding remains a significant concern across parts of South Texas, particularly along Highway 90 and in the Hill Country, as heavy rainfall continues to impact the region.
According to KSAT Weather Authority, flood warnings are in effect west of San Antonio, with additional rounds of heavy rain expected through Thursday.

Impact & Risks

Flooding poses a significant risk to communities along Highway 90, the Hill Country, and areas near the Cibolo, Nueces, and Frio Rivers. Low-lying areas, including trailer parks and agricultural lands, are particularly vulnerable. The Pecan Grove trailer park in Schertz is at risk of flooding overnight, and river crossings, such as those at Barksdale and parts of Highway 55, may become impassable. Livestock and infrastructure, including oil well jacks and irrigation pumps, are also at risk of damage. Residents in flood-prone areas should remain vigilant and prepared to evacuate if necessary.
