• The National Weather Service (NWS) San Diego has discontinued the Tropical Storm Watch for San Diego County and its coastal waters as of early Sunday morning.
• The government of Mexico has also lifted the Tropical Storm Warning from Punta Eugenia to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Impact & Risks

The storm has caused localised flooding, coastal erosion, and high surf, posing risks to beachgoers and residents in low-lying areas. Winds gusting up to 60 mph in mountainous and desert regions may lead to hazardous travel conditions. Water contamination from urban runoff has prompted health advisories for several beaches, including Harbor Beach and La Jolla Children's Pool, where bacteria levels exceed state health standards. Flash flooding remains a concern in affected areas.
