Silversea Announces 2026 Alaska and Arctic Cruise Seasons
US · Published May 20, 2026
Silversea Cruises has unveiled its 2026 Alaska and Arctic seasons, offering a range of immersive voyages through some of the world's most remote and breathtaking regions.
The Alaska season includes 30 voyages aboard Silver Whisper and Silver Moon, featuring scenic glacier cruising and visits to iconic ports such as Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway.
Meanwhile, the Arctic season spans 21 voyages aboard Silver Endeavour and Silver Wind, exploring destinations like Svalbard, Disko Bay, and the Northwest Passage.

Why It's Important?

The cruises are designed to provide guests with unparalleled access to remote and pristine environments, but travelers should be prepared for the challenges of Arctic and Alaskan weather conditions. Wildlife encounters, while awe-inspiring, require adherence to safety guidelines to protect both guests and the animals. Additionally, the small ship sizes enhance the sense of discovery but may limit onboard amenities compared to larger vessels. Guests should also be aware of the environmental impact of cruise travel in sensitive ecosystems and consider the sustainability measures in place.
