According to the Clarendon County Coroner's Office, the incident happened on Saturday evening at the Driftwood Grill Home of the Lazy Gator, located along Lake Marion.
Strong winds dislodged an umbrella from a table, which then struck the woman in the head and neck area while she was dining with her husband.
