Deep Depression to Bring Heavy Rain to Telangana, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh
• A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal is expected to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall, with isolated extremely heavy rain, to Telangana, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.
• The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported that the system will cross the north Andhra Pradesh-South Odisha coast near Kalingapatnam by Wednesday night.

The heavy rainfall and strong winds could lead to localised flooding, particularly in south Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana. Coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha may face rough seas and potential disruptions to marine activities. The IMD has flagged a low to moderate risk of flash floods in several districts of Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana through Thursday morning.
