• Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will chair the meeting at the Secretariat.

Impact & Risks

The rainfall deficit and critical groundwater conditions are affecting agriculture, water availability, and livelihoods in Telangana. Farmers and rural communities in 358 drought-affected mandals face challenges in crop production and accessing drinking water. The prolonged drought-like conditions could exacerbate economic hardships and strain resources, particularly in districts with deficient rainfall.
