North Texas is bracing for severe weather as First Alert Weather Days have been declared for Monday and Tuesday.
According to CBS News, Sunday will remain hot, breezy, and cloudy, with temperatures reaching the upper 80s to low 90s by 5 PM.
Due to high atmospheric moisture, the heat index could feel closer to 100°F (38°C).

Why It's Important?

The primary risks associated with the upcoming storms include intense winds, hail, and localized flooding, particularly on Tuesday as the cold front moves through. While some areas may experience severe weather, others might remain dry. The variability in storm development makes it crucial for residents to stay updated on the latest forecasts. Additional heavy rain is expected on Wednesday, which could exacerbate flooding concerns. Cooler air is anticipated to follow the front, but the region will remain in an unsettled weather pattern for the rest of the week.
