Elevated wind and rain conditions often occur due to cyclonic systems, thunderstorms, or monsoon activity. During the southwest monsoon (June–September), heavy rainfall and strong winds are frequent across many parts of India. Coastal regions, particularly along the eastern coast, are more prone to cyclonic storms that bring intense winds and rainfall.
