Farmers from regions like Ganderbal, Bandipora, and Srinagar participated in intensive training sessions covering biosecurity, water-quality management, responsible aquaculture, early disease detection, and Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). These modules aim to shift the focus from reactive disease treatment to proactive prevention, ensuring better survival rates and farm efficiency. Routine water monitoring and stress reduction techniques were emphasized to safeguard fish health.
