Disasters amplify the vulnerabilities of marginalised communities, pushing them into cycles of poverty and debt. Families often live in makeshift shelters, struggle with loss of income, and face emotional trauma from losing their homes. Children miss school, health deteriorates due to unsanitary conditions, and local economies collapse. The project addresses these challenges by providing safe housing, livelihood support, and emotional counselling to help families rebuild their lives.
